Concerto a 9 ex G for 2 Horns, 2 Oboes, 2 Violin, Viola and Basso continuo
Way became strange the detail "2" Corne de chasse corrects 4 into one in the title of the handwriting. Only 2 horn voices exist in the source on hand and 4 horns would not correspond any more to the title "Concerto a 9" either. Both horn voices were possibly doubled at a performance.
The two horns have to be found more seldom with an atmosphere in G8 in compositions of this epoch. As a bass-pitched instrument a bassoon (Bassong) was noted down. Of course a violoncello and/or double bass also can and should play a part emphasizingly in the performance.
Also this work appear hereby for the first time.
