Carl August Hänsel became 1799 in the city of Sayda which is located in the east of the Erzgebirge, born. Of 1836 - 1867 Saxon chamber musician he was a cellist in Dresden at the Saxon court chapel and one had the title royally. As a composer numerous compositions are traditional from Hänsel. Works are announced at the pressure by him as of 1831. These were most of march and dance processings, works for its solo instrument, so the divertissement for violoncellos obligato. and piano of June 1832, however, already are under this, too. Its opus 75 7 appeared to instrumental quartet originaux pour 4 Cors chromatiques at the Dresden music publisher Bauer in April 1859. Perhaps Hänsel was this hornists Carl Heinrich Hübler by his orchestra colleague and Mason lodge brother, to this composition activated. This then followed concertino for 2 valve French horns with pianoforte in the same publishing house in December 1860.
