Giuliano Lusini was born in January 1764 in Florence. His life and his training data can be determined only slightly. In Gerber's Dictionary of Musicians from 1811 he is recorded as a singer, conductor and composer, he 1792/93 with an opera company toured Germany.
He was station in Kassel in 1792. Gerber indicates that Caterina Lusini Lusinis wife, soprano and prima donna of the company, sang with taste and skill. Cassel was listed in a motet and it is reported that Lusini has also composed operas, such as Alciade e Telesia.
In the Paris National Library, there are some compositions of Lusini, including the present 6 Trios for Flute and 2 Horns. The title marked "Giuliano Lusini Florentino / In Roma"
For whom have been composed and on what occasion this trio is not determinable at present, it emerged, according to information from the National Library in Paris around 1790.
The cast is a flute and two horns found very rarely, published by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's son Franz Xaver (1791-1844) around 1810 piccoli pezzi 6 for Flute and 2 Horns in print.
Lusinis trio appear at the output in the first edition. For better readability, the parts of the horns in the original and were also edited in a transposed version in F.
