Johann Andreas Kellner
Concert in D for Horn solo, 2 Flutes, Strings
This concerto is really a rarity. Johann Andreas Kellner was "organist di Gotha", remarked on the cover sheet of the copy. In Robert Eitner 's source encyclopaedia he is named as:
Kellner, Johann Andreas Hoforganist in Gotha um 1783
This work was named in the first Music catalogue of the world, the catalogue of Breitkopf 1784. One copy remained in the collection C.F. Becker which lies in the music library of Leipzig.
The Horn part is extremely difficult because of its virtuoso height, that is why the music is recommended to Corno da Caccia.
extra parts for corno da caccia or trumpet in B-flat
