Horn Concertos of Lund
The University Library Lund in Sweden keeps the most extensive source for horn music from the first half of the 18th century. The music is a handwritten collection of the Academic chapel. Many of the composers therein had somehow connections to the court in Dresden. It is possible that the copier was a hornist who visited Dresden.
This collection Wenster contains 18 concertos for horn - and not 17 how it is always said.

No.9 Johann Joachim Quantz (1697 -1773)
Concerto ex D sharp major for corno concertato, oboe, 2 violins, viola and basso
In the collection from Lund we find two concerti of Quantz. This concerto (no.9) is written in the catalogue of Breitkopf from 1763 Part.III as a concerto of Quantz, however in F major and without the oboe.
The concerto no.3 from Lund is also displayed with an inscription in the catalogue of Breitkopf from 1783., here however indicated to C.G. Fischer (supplement XIV). As Quantz as copier on the title page of Hoffmann appears is it well possible, that the composer of the concerto no.3 was really Fischer and Quantz was the copier. RISM indicates also Fischer as the composer.
This concerto no.9 from Lund is however real with high probability from Quantz.
