This concerto is kept in the library of Stift Melk under the composer W.A.Mozart. This entry was made later and is certainly wrong for this manuscript. Sterling E. Murray numbered this concerto C43 and speaks of a probable composition by Rosetti.
Another possible composer would be Giovanni Punto. It is composed in the interval of g to a'' not very virtuoso but the middle register is very complex. This concerto is very recommended for horn learners.
