A Baroque Horn Concerto in E major, which was previously almost unknown. The provenance is unfortunately not be determined precisely, probably from the French region. It was apparently around 1910 in the collection of the French musicologist Henry Prunières - found (1886, 1942).
On the front page titled "Concerto a 4 / corno solo / 2 violins / et / Basso" afterwards (from Prunières?) Was added: "par / Viani Cadet" A Mr. Viani is unknown at this time.
The development period of this enchanting concert is about 1750. The range is quoted to c'''. A performance alternative to organ is easily possible from the score.
