Concerto D major for Horn, 2 Oboes, 2 Violins, Viola and Basso
This event is sold only transmitted anonymously. It was owned by the Count of Clam-Callas, last held in Frýdlant Castle (German Friedland) in northern Bohemia. Originally it might have come from the court music of Count in Prague. In 1947 this collection was relocated to Prague in the National Library. Today it is under the signature XLII-C-382 in the National Museum of Prague - Czech Museum of Music stored. A separate title page does not exist, the individual voices have only their instrument name. The cast is having a solo horn, two Oboe, Two Violins, Viola and Basso. Due to the information indicated in the Horn, which is initially in the tutti with notes, one can not rule out that maybe even two tutti horns were composed.
The solo horn is passed to the listed g3. A very high position, but at this time nothing Singular. The melody, however, shows that this concert was composed for a very experienced horn players. Time it is about in the second half of the 18th century, to put about 1760.
