In Prague, in the music collection of the National Museum there is this Concerto for Horn as a copy. It comes from the collection of the North Bohemian monastery Osek. The title is: Concerto in E la fa / a / Corno Principalo / Due Violins / Viola / Due oboes / Due Corni in E la fa / con / Basso / Authore Fux
As a composer of the work could be eligible Peter Fux (also written Fuchs). He was born on 22. 1. 1753 and died on 15. 6. 1831 in Vienna. More about Peter Fux here.
His concert vorliegendes here bears traces of classical and is composed around 1780. The solo horn is extremely high in the 1st Movement.
The copy of the concert Fux is a simplified version of the 1st movement of the same copyist. Evidence that the horn part was not without problems even then. The simplified version should make no unsolvable problems for high horn players. The high version was also edited in a B-vote for "corno da caccia".
The Orchestral parts be delivered as a set of 3/3/2/3 / Wind.
The piano reduction has 3 Horn Parts - Original version, Simplified version, version for Corno da caccia in Bb
